The international famous velvet research experts, the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences two outstanding talents. Former  AgResearch Invermay Agricultural Center, New Zealand, Project  Moderator, Deputy Director of the National Key Laboratory for Molecular  Biology of Special Economic Animal Sciences, China, and Special Economic  Animal Stem Cell Innovation Team Leader the scientist. Now  presided over the national 863 project 1, 973 special 2, the National  Natural Science Fund 2, Jilin Province Natural Science Foundation of a  key project, Jilin province science and technology development plan 1  item. Has nurtured graduate students 19 (including overseas), including 6 doctoral students.

He  got his Ph.D. in Physiology from the Otago University School of  Medicine in New Zealand in 1997. He received his Ph.D. in Physiology  from the University of Otago in New Zealand in 1997. After his  graduation, he was employed by Royal New Zealand Agricultural (AgResearch  NZ Ltd) for a deeper level of antler biology research, 2006 to present  at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences Specialty Research  Institute. In  more than 30 years of research in antler biology, a total of more than  90 academic papers (SCI included more than 50 articles); participate in  relevant international conferences more than 30 games; He  was awarded the "China Youth Science and Technology Award" by the China  Association for Science and Technology (CAST) in 1990; the "Second  Prize of Science and Technology Progress" in Jilin Province and the  Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences in 2002 (first prize); "China  Science and Technology Progress Award" Third); 2003 World Research Promotion Council awarded the "Outstanding Scientist Award."

Career  achievements have been widely recognized by international colleagues,  were invited in the first (2000, Banff, Canada), the second (2004, New  Zealand Queenstown) and the third (2011, Changchun) International deer  antler Science And  the 6th (Czech Republic Prague, 2006), the 7th (Huilo Huilo, Chile,  2010) and the 8th (Harbin, China, 2014) international deer biology  conference. chunyi antler research group

Chunyi  Velvet Research Group is affiliated to the State Key Laboratory of  Special Animal and Molecular Biology, which is based on the Research  Institute of Specialty of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences. Dr. Li Chunyi was founded in 2006. Dr.  Lee is an international authoritative scientist in the field and has  been invited to give plenary presentations at international conferences.  The  research group has been focusing on the unique biological model of  velvet antler to explore the full regeneration of velvet, clever  regulation of rapid tissue growth does not occur cancer, stem cell  self-differentiation, and wound healing without scarring and other  mechanisms. 2)  It was found that the early regeneration of velvet antler and the wound  healing process of the mouse limb are very similar, the mouse limb can  not be regenerated mainly in the process of regeneration of stem cells. Because of its long bone periosteal cell division potential and velvet stem cells no comparable. Which can be used to induce the regeneration of the mammalian  limb; (3) The somatic cells differentiate into stem cells in mammalian  body for the first time.

        Research  Directions: 1. Identification of molecular biology and activity factors  (Dr. Ba Xingxing); 2. Establishment of cell biology and in vitro models  (Dr. Sun Hongmei); 3.        The  research focuses on the unique biological model of pilose antler on the  molecular level to reveal the mechanism of complete regeneration of  velvet, cleverly regulate the mechanism of rapid tissue growth without  carcinogenesis, the mechanism of stem cell self-differentiation,  cartilage, bone ,  Skin, blood vessels and nerve regeneration mechanism, with a view to  the cause of human health and a substantial increase in velvet yield to  contribute. The  research contents are as follows: 1. Study on regeneration mechanism of  antler; 2) Establishment of antler bioreactor; 3) Research on antler  microspore related to antler regeneration; 4) Antler stem cell and its  microenvironment; 1. Study on the immunogenicity of antler stem cells; 6. Study on the immunogenicity of antler stem cells;

        Development  Objectives: Through actively seeking for national basic research  projects, especially the Natural Science Foundation, 863 and 973  projects, and published high-level academic papers, strive to become the  international velvet research at the end of the twelfth five-year-end,  the most influential Team, committed to the cause of human health, for the biomedical and deer industry made outstanding contributions
